Arrival, parking & your stay

High up with me on the Planneralm, you’ll be far away from your hectic everyday life and free from overcrowded slopes. However, this also means the access road is frequently covered in snow. The 12-kilometer-long Plannerstraße is cleared regularly, snow can build up, especially after a fresh snowfall.

So, grab your gear and get ready to be truly amazed by my winter wonderland! A glance at the current weather report will show you what to expect: maybe bright sunshine on glittering snow or gentle snowflakes to put you in the winter mood.

To ensure you get here calm and relaxed:

It’s best to check the weather report shortly before you set off.
It never hurts to carry snow chains with you – this way, you‘ll be prepared for any eventuality.

Important information to keep in mind

Before you set off, it’s useful to have the phone number and contact details of your accommodation. That way, you can quickly phone them if you have any questions or need help. If you need assistance with your car or need a set of snow chains, the local garages can help you.

PARKING FOR SKI TOURERS

Parking is free for all my guests with a valid ski ticket. Ski tourists without a ski ticket will be asked to contribute 12 euros per car (per day), which goes toward maintaining our infrastructure. Fees are collected by my parking attendants or can be conveniently paid via the ski lift ticket office.

ATM’s and payment options

Wondering whether I have an ATM? Unfortunately, no. But that‘s not a problem! Most establishments accept credit card payments, so you can travel here without having to carry a lot of cash. If you prefer to use cash, I would recommend that you make a withdrawal in the valley when you first arrive – you’ll find ATM withdrawal facilities in Donnersbach or Irdning. This way, you’ll be well-prepared to enjoy a smooth and stress-free vacation with me.
